“When Baal (false god, demon) was unable to possess one generation of Israelites, he would focus on the next–the nation’s children. Since children represent the future, if he could take hold of America’s children, he could take hold of America. So by removing prayer and the Word from the education of America’s children, he was wakening the transmission of faith to the next generation. He could then separate the entire nation from prayer, from the Word, and from faith. By causing God’s ways to become alien to the nation’s children, he could cause the alienation of America from God.”– Jonathan Cahn, The Return Of The Gods (2022)
The banning of prayer in schools in 1962 by the Supreme Court, and the removal of the Bible leads America’s children to believe the lie that God is not essential.
Our children are taught reading, writing, and arithmetic, but instilling basic morals to produce good character–the difference between right and wrong–was tossed out when they tossed out Bible reading.
Nothing is more righteous or moral than God’s Word.
Judging by heinous actions taking place across the country–children killing children and their teachers–this action of removing Bible reading has caused considerable tragedy through the years.
Has America’s government forgotten we are a nation founded on God’s principles?
Has congress forgotten they recommended Bibles in all classrooms in 1782?
“The Congress of the United States recommends and approves the Holy Bible for use in all schools.” United States Congress
Have today’s presidents forgotten the words of President Calvin Coolidge?
“The foundations of our society and our government rest so much on the teachings of the Bible that it would be difficult to support them if faith in these teachings would cease to be practically universal in our country.”
The Bible teaches the Ten Commandments: do not murder, commit adultery, steal, lie, or covet another’s property. It’s all good stuff. These instructions are building blocks for good character in our children. These are commandments that are definitely good for all children to learn and remember.
Ironically, tablets of The Ten Commandments are found on the doors leading into the Supreme Court Chambers, and, Moses holds the two tablets on the eastern wall inside the Supreme court.
Our adult Supreme Court Justices are privileged with these reminders about life, but not America’s children?
For children to learn respect of Authority, God (the One who gives these instructions to show love to one another) . . . it only makes sense.
America, stop alienating children from God. Bring the Bible back into schools.
ARE YOU A FOLLOWER OF JESUS?
Have you invited Jesus into your heart? Now is the perfect time. Pray this sinner’s prayer found at Gotquestions.com.
“God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen.”
Blessings to you as you receive redemption through Jesus.

We need to remember the separation of church and state as well not all the children in our schools are Christian some are also Jewish as well as other religions. If we as parents teach our children in the way they should go as we are raising them they will become followers of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for adding your comments.
You are correct : “[i]f we as parents teach our children in the way they should go as we are raising them they will become followers of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
The phrase ” separation of church and state” is not part of the Constitution. This country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. The bible was the original school text book in this country.
I have provided a few previous posts which you might find helpful.

We will need to agree to disagree our own point of view, I am a Christian and I have many friends who I went to school with who are Jewish they should not have to read our Bible neither should a Muslin person. Our country was never founded on Christianity it was founded on freedom of religion which is all religion. As a pastor myself and I have been a chaplain I will never support have the Christian Bible to be part of our schools. Let the parents do there job at homes.

Our country is built on Christian principles which are the foundation of Constitution. Just as we cannot compel Christian worship neither can worshipers of other religions force their religion upon Christians. The groups who insist on pushing the alleged separation of church and state are trying to deny Christians the free exercise of Christianity. A true Christian knows Jesus was Jewish and originally Christians met in and worshipped in Jewish Synagogues. Christianity grew out of Judaism. The first Amendment was put in place because England had a state church with the King or Queen as its head and all other religions were outlawed. This country was founded by people escaping religious persecution as they wished to worship in a different manner. Rhode Island was founded because they didn’t like the way people in Massachusetts worshipped. Each of the 13 original colonies mention a reliance on Jesus Christ. The USA has a Christian foundation no matter what those who try to rewrite history say.

No it was not on freedom of religion I am not a conservative Christian I am, and proud to be a liberal where everyone is welcome in the church, rather the color of their skin or who they love or married

Everyone is welcome at the foot of the Cross. Jesus is the head of the Church. Everyone is welcomed in the church. God’s Word, the Bible, has restrictions who may serve in leadership, not which type of sinner may enter or worship.

You are judging everyone I mean everyone is welcome at the table of the Lord and yes a woman can preach and serving in all roles in a church

I have no idea where you got a judgment by me of everyone. I provided you Biblical responses. I made no mention of roles for women in the church. God judges the thoughts and intents of the heart. Jesus is the final Judge.

Forgive me I am not judging you or anyone, I have watch so many people who say that they are Christians and all that they do is judge others and trying to force their beliefs on another. We ae to share the Love of Christ to others and to share the Gospel, with them, I know many do and I have seen that., but there are too many to judge. For myself I have a child who is chronically ill she was born this way and I am the one who is bless to be her mom. So many Christians believe because of my sin or hers she is not heal, others have said read your Bible more and you will be heal. We must learn that God doesn’t heal everyone I do not know why only he does. When our journey in life becomes so hard and we are in the pity of the valley when we can continue to Praise the Lord in the place of unknown he will give us the strength to get through, and yes he has for me,

Yes, too many like to judge, I think it makes them feel superior. They forget about taking the log out of their own eye before attacking the speck in someone else’s eye. People in the OT blamed sin for sickness. Some sicknesses can be as the result of sin. God decides who and how and when He may provide a healing. We’ll pray for your child. I am sure she is a Blessing. Thank you for sharing.
